MT-Textile and SmartyPants
I just installed two MovableType plugins and am testing it out now. MT-Textile allows me to type in simplified formatting like
*this* or _this_and it will automatically convert it to the appropriate HTML formatting like
this and this
Pretty nifty. SmartyPants works in conjunction with MT-Textile to automatically convert normal straight quotation marks \' and \" to "smart quotes" and other typographical niceties like em-dashes -- and proper ellipses...
