thanks, jon, this is absolutely fantabulously gorgeous. i love it. thanks for reminding me that it's autumn in melbourne and although i'm not there, i'm getting a bit of it. maybe u can make me a collage of dried leaves :)

it's autumn there?? oh yeh.. Winter's in June?? forgot bout that... it's spring here.. but the last few days have been summer heat!!it's amazingly HOT..i like autumn.. you can put your blades on and carry and umbrella.. and the wind does everything..and since it's so windy, sometimes the power goes out.. so all the kids come out and they're playing in the wind and trying not to touch the leaves..

No Tristan, i don't think you've ever experienced autumn. The times we went down to Australia was during end of winter or spring.

But on the other hand, you DO experience Malaysian autumns. If you noticed, there's a particular time in the year when the tree's all dry out and leaves fall, usually just before the rainy season kicks in.

Yeah, I think I know what you're talking about. Pseudo-autumn. Not bad but I still miss the leafy shower which gets in your hair, coat, boots, bag, everywhere :)
