I'm one foot too tall...
... for my apartment.
After living here at my new place for a week already, I've been discovering some quirks. The most noticeable being that the whole apartment seems to be designed for people at least a foot shorter than I am.
In the kitchen, I get a backache while preparing food and washing the dishes due to the low counter tops and sink.
In the bathroom, I need to bend down just to see my own face in the mirrored medicine cabinet built-into the wall, and likewise, the sink is positioned at my lower abdomen.
Also, I'm constantly knocking the light fixtures dangling from the ceiling whenever i stretch my arms to put on my t-shirts or jumpers.

The same prob with my/jen's/our apt at Osborne St. You'd wonder how 6feet tall angmoh deal with it.

LOL Jon! And you didn't notice this before you moved in? Hehe, sounds like you've got some Limbo rocking to do - "how lowww can you go??".

Well I did notice it, cos i had to measure the height of the ceiling to determine if my loft bed would have been able to fit or not (which it doesn't), but it's only when you start using them after a while you'd realize how low the things really are.
