Losing time

Something very odd is going on. Every morning I get up, my watch loses time, and it appears to stop only at night. It's been about a week already... last night it was 30 mins, the night before 1.5 hours, and before that i had lost 3 hours.

I wear my watch to bed and it's the only timepiece in the apartment that's affected. So in the morning I'd have to re-adjust the time and it's fine for the rest of the day. I wonder what's going on...

On the topic of time... the last few weeks have been a blur to me.. I'm losing track of the hours and the days. I missed a dinner appointment last night because i totally forgot about it, despite getting the invitation on Tuesday.

Hmm...this is causing me a great deal of concern. Not your watch, of course. Do a battery change for your watch at St Kilda markets. You sure you're feeling fine, Jon? Take care, k? And don't work too hard. Remind me not to do the same too when I need to wake up at 8am on a Saturday and set up my laptop to settle an "urgent" issue.

Could be the battery? Everytime my watch begins to screw up in the fashion you described, I take it to a shop that sells timepieces and have a fixer-upper take a look at it. It works all the time for me.

yes i'm pretty sure it's the battery.. :) just find it odd that it only stops during the night.. and i'd get freaked out in the morning when it's bright outside but my watch says it's 5:30am

Colin's logical explanation:
The reason why it stops at night is because the temp. is low and the battery needs to work harder. Since it's almost dead anyway, how hard can it work before giving up?

Maybe at night, your body goes into a temparel time warp, there for folding space as well as time. Have you looked into the mirror lately? Maybe you're not aging as fast as we are...
