Death of my Dad
I was awakened early this morning to be called to my father's bedside. We supported him and gave him assurance and he finally passed on peacefully at 4:30am, this Sunday 19th September 2004.
It was a relief to see him calm and relaxed, happy that his family was all around him. The shock still hasn't really settled in. I'm feeling a bit numb to the whole situation at the moment. Making myself useful with the preparations and decisions regarding the funeral.
I've set up a guest book on laurencepoh.com if anybody wants to leave a message.

There are no words to tell you how sorry I am for your loss. But know we walked this journey together and will continue walking as well. I hope to talk to you soon. You know your father loved you and still does. What greater comfort is there than to know that he still walks with you and guides and loves you from that place where he is no longer in pain or suffering any more. It IS finished now. Know that I love you. May God and his angels now comfort and hold you, Colin, Tristan, your mother and your family close to their hearts and comfort you in your time of need.
Talk to you soon.
Love
Jeremy

I can still remember the day my dad passed on. It was 330 AM, March 21 2001. Was awakened early in the morning, still feeling numb and rather blur.
He left us while we were all sleeping....
Anyway, the scene at the crematorium is still kinda fresh in my mind and kept playing back. My life went on and still going on, living each day stronger. Need to support my mummy, she is still finding it hard to accept the fact the he is no longer here anymore.
Got your site from : www.tabulas.com/~louyau, colinpoh, laurencepoh, then finally here.
So, take care and rest well. Be strong. God bless

There was a time in our life we tried to understand our parents. There was a time in our life we understood our parents. There is the time our parents understood us. When they have understood us and gave us everything we truly needed, that is the time we would always say goodbye.
I'm really sorry for you Jon. I hope you'll be strong and carry on with your life as how your dad have understood you. Deepest sympathy..

"Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some people move our souls to dance. They awaken us to a new understanding with the passing whisper of their wisdom. Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon. They stay in our lives for a while, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never ever he same." - Flavia Weedn -
My deepest sympathies to you and your family. If you ever need someone to talk to or even a shoulder to cry on, we are all here for you. I know I am. God bless.
