OK so I've been tagged by geekchic
1. Total number of books owned:
46 here in Melbourne.
2. The last book I bought:
The Barefoot Investor by Scott Pape
3. The last book I read:
The "Down Under" half of Bill Bryson's 2-book compendium "Walkabout"
4. Five books that mean a lot to me:
- The Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy - Douglas Adams (I could fill up this list with all 5 books in this "trilogy", but I won't)
- Tales of the Unexpected - Roald Dahl (Love the black humour which I discovered it during secondary school)
- The Beach - Alex Garland (so much better than the movie starring Leonardo DiCaprio)
- Nineteen Eighty Four - George Orwell (even more relevant and scarier now than ever)
- Dracula - Bram Stoker (I loved the way the story unfolds through a series of letters, diary and journal entries.)

Ahh yes. I remember 1984. It's not really that relevant if you take it at face value. Depends on how deep you want to read into it and draw parallels to our lives now :)
