RSS Feeds

I've just started using FeedBurner after many months of wondering what the hoopla is all about. I'm a bit of a stats junkie and, you guessed it, FeedBurner keeps track of my readership via the RSS feeds. AWStats on my server shows site traffic but there is no way I can tell how many people have subscribed to the RSS feeds. It also consolidates all the different versions of RSS and Atom so I only need to publish one feed URL and FeedBurner will dish out the appropriate feed that your newsreader or RSS aggregator needs.

So, if you're reading my posts via the feed, please update your subscriptions with the following URL so I know you are there:

Hey SY, you made your blog private or something? I can't seem to access it. Thx for the comment - it's up and running and being given an extreme makeover.

Hey!

I'm joining Naga in November and guess who's gonna be my art director?

Yep, your friend YK.
Cool eh?

:) By the way, how does this whole RSS thing work? Quite a tech-ignoramus.

hey... that's cool. Small world!

Well RSS is another way of keeping up with blogs and other bits of information. Instead of visiting every site everyday to check to see if there are any new posts, you can subscribe to it via RSS using a RSS aggregator or newsreader application. There are many out there, some web-based, some as free/shareware that you run on your local machine. Each with their own features, pros and cons.

I personally use NetNewsWire that runs on Mac OS X.
