Resigned

Today, I handed in my resignation at Officeworks. It was a long and hard decision to make, but I finally convinced myself it was what I needed to do. I've been overloaded with my web design work and I'm still pulling in new clients, which is great, but the part-time job is taking time away from me working on my those jobs, not to mention wiping out my weekends and any semblance of a social life.

My business plan, goals and projections had to be revised to accommodate the change once I leave Officeworks, but it is still realistic and achievable. It is a risk to cut myself loose at this time, but a calculated one, so lets see how it goes.

All the best, Jon. One thing I've learnt, money CAN give you temporary fun with all the new pretty glittery toys you can get. But all THAT can be wiped out if you don't have a life. Something like what I'm going through now. THe difference is that you've got heaps of opportunities in Australia. You have a huge advantage over the rest of us corporate rats. Go for it!
