Minty stats
I purchased Shaun Inman's Mint stats application for jonathanpoh.com and I'm finding that it's heck a lot more useful than the other stats packages that come with most web hosts. One bit of information that Mint brought to light was how popular my Wallpapers section is, and I'm getting loads of visits to that section, mostly via Google's Image Search. I've gotten close to 1,500 hits to that page alone this month so far, compared 440 to the blog page, and 270 to the site index. The best thing about Mint is that it is extensible with plug-ins called Peppers, and I've seen some really useful Peppers come out already.
Maybe I should start making more desktop wallpapers? What say you?

Yup, and make some moolah out of them too. Say, charge USD$5 for each download. It's fun and you get some extra pocket money for it.

Man, if I could make money creating wallpapers..But all my wallpapers're made using photoshop, as in, using brushes and all that, so they don't really look like those pictures you have in that wallpaper gallery. Favourite's still the 2 cents.

Photoshop-created wallpaper is perfectly acceptable, as you would see in places like:
deviantArt - http://www.deviantart.com
Mandolux - http://mandolux.mine.nu/archive/index.html
InterfaceLIFT - http://interfacelift.com/
Whether or not you can charge people for it is another matter though. Maybe a PayPal donation button might allow people to give what they feel it's worth, if they want to.

Hi there, thanks! Perhaps Opus Bistro in Bangsar needs a website of their own, eh? Considering I'm the top hit for that search phrase on Google.
