This morning I did a bit of spring cleaning and tidied up my PowerBook's desktop, and also tried playing around with Themes. I installed a really cool one called Milk, using ThemeChanger 0.5. While on the same site I also downloaded and installed Max's Milk Safari Skin, so it blends in nicely with the rest of the system. Since Milk came with an CandyBar icon pack, I went and installed that too, but since that is shareware, I'll decide later to keep it or not. Another thing I installed was iFix©2 which patches iTunes and Quicktime for a updated, cleaner brushed metal look similar to iMovie 3.
In case you're wondering, the weather and Airport indicators at the lower right corner of the screen are from another cool app I recently discovered called Konfabulator. It's a javascript runtime engine which allows all sorts of applets (they call them Widgets) to be created. Some useful, some useless (read "fun"). You just have to try it out for yourself.
